Rules

Do

  • Range left, ragged right. 45–75 characters per line.
  • Sentence case for headings and buttons; uppercase only for short labels, tracked +0.14 em.
  • Bold, once, for the thing that matters.
  • A space between a number and its unit: 500 mg. Months as letters: 14 Mar 2026.

Don't

  • Justified text, italics for emphasis, underlines outside links.
  • Uppercase body text, a patient's name or a drug name.
  • Any other typeface, or Nunito, Nunito Sans Condensed, faux bold or faux italic.
  • A dose, a result or the emergency number below 9 pt, or in Cyan on white.
Where Nunito Sans cannot be installed — an email client, a hospital information system — use the system sans-serif. Never substitute a different display font.
